Partick Thistle team news

For Thistle, Logan Chalmers has been the shining light in the early weeks of the campaign. The winger has already chipped in with three goals and an assist in just five outings and will be tasked with carrying much of the creative spark for Kris Doolan's side.

He's tipped to line up on the left of a packed midfield five, alongside Tsoanelo Letsosa, Robbie Crawford, Ben Stanway, and Aidan Fitzpatrick—the latter boasting a tally of one goal and three assists so far.

Celtic team news

Celtic, meanwhile, have their own fitness headaches. Alistair Johnston, Auston Trusty, Jota, and Anthony Ralston are all unavailable, though Brendan Rodgers still has plenty of options to call upon. After delivering late drama last weekend, Kelechi Iheanacho could be handed his first start in green and white, likely partnering James Forrest and Sebastian Tounekti in the forward line.

At right-back, 19-year-old Colby Donovan looks set to continue deputising following his start last week, with Johnston and Ralston both sidelined. All eyes will be on whether the champions can maintain their grip on the competition—or if Thistle can spring a surprise in front of their home crowd.
