The Green Bay Packers (3–1–1) hit the road for a Sunday clash against the Arizona Cardinals (2–4) at State Farm Stadium, looking to keep pace in the NFC playoff picture. But while the record looks fine on paper, this Green Bay squad hasn't exactly inspired confidence, especially away from Lambeau.
The Packers have stumbled in hostile territory, falling 22-10 in Philadelphia and 13-10 in Cleveland, before that wild 40-40 stalemate in Dallas. Sure, they got back in the win column last weekend, but it wasn't the kind of dominant performance that screams "contender."
Meanwhile, the Cardinals are licking their wounds after another narrow defeat, this time a 31-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Jacoby Brissett put up solid numbers — 320 yards, two touchdowns, and a pick but Arizona's defense was gashed by Indy's ground game, coughing up 150 rushing yards and failing to get the key stops when it mattered most.
Now, the big question: can the Cardinals regroup as home underdogs? They'll scrap, no doubt — Kyler Murray and company rarely go down without throwing a few punches. But trusting this team in crunch time is a fool's errand. The Packers might not make it look pretty (they rarely do), yet they should still have enough firepower and poise to grind out another nervy win.

Team news & squads
Arizona Cardinals team news
The Arizona Cardinals enter Week 7 with their depth chart in tatters, and the timing couldn’t be worse. Both James Conner and Trey Benson have been ruled out, leaving Arizona without its top two running backs just as they're set to face the NFL's stingiest run defense. That's the football equivalent of bringing a knife to a gunfight.
To make matters worse, Kyler Murray is nursing a foot injury that has thrown a wrench into the Cardinals’ game plan. If he can't go, veteran Jacoby Brissett will once again be tasked with steering the offense, not an easy assignment after last week's tough loss. Expect Arizona to lean heavily on tight end Trey McBride and wideout Michael Wilson, two of the few bright spots in an otherwise inconsistent attack.
Marvin Harrison Jr. remains in concussion protocol. Veteran wideout Zay Jones (knee) sat out entirely, and rookie defensive lineman Darius Robinson made his return after a two-game absence.

Green Bay Packers team news
Over in Green Bay, things look far more stable, at least offensively. Jordan Love continues to grow into his role as the Packers’ leader, already throwing for 1,259 yards and nine touchdowns on the year.
Josh Jacobs has done the heavy lifting on the ground, piling up 359 rushing yards and six scores through five games. But even the Packers aren't at full strength — injuries to Jayden Reed and MarShawn Lloyd sting, while Christian Watson and Dontayvion Wicks remain question marks heading into Sunday.
Love has finally been cleared from the injury report for the first time in 2025. The Packers signal-caller had been nursing a left thumb and ankle issue but hasn't missed a single snap all year. Joining him off the list are Tucker Kraft, Nate Hobbs, Kingsley Enagbare, Rasheed Walker, and Savion Williams, all of whom are good to go to start the week.
Still, Green Bay isn't completely out of the woods. Four players sat out Wednesday’s session: Devonte Wyatt (knee), Zach Tom (oblique/back), Brandon McManus (right quad), and Lukas Van Ness (foot). Wyatt and McManus were sidelined last week, while Tom gutted through his injury on Sunday. Van Ness’s foot issue, however, is new. Javon Bullard is undergoing concussion evaluation, not protocol, and Josh Jacobs—who infamously vomited midgame—remains listed with an illness.
On the brighter side, Anthony Belton returned to practice for the first time since his Week 4 ankle injury, while Dontayvion Wicks logged limited work after tweaking his ankle Sunday. Christian Watson and Jacob Monk also practiced again as they continue within their 21-day return window.

Cardinals vs Packers Fantasy Football
Plenty of folks expected Jordan Love (18.7 projected Week 7 fantasy points) and the Packers to come out firing after their bye week, but the offense barely moved the needle early on. They mustered just 10 first-half points before eventually grinding out a 27-18 win over the Bengals, a performance that looked better in the box score than on the field. Love's final line — 19-of-26 for 259 yards and a touchdown — was solid, but hardly the fireworks show we saw when he torched Dallas for 337 yards and three scores.
Now, he gets another soft landing spot against an Arizona Cardinals defense that’s been shredded through the air all season, surrendering 246 passing yards per game, fifth-worst in the league. Every QB to face them has thrown for at least 212 yards, with most clearing 240. Translation: Love’s got another chance to pad his stats. He's been dependable, if unspectacular — the kind of fantasy quarterback who won't win you a week, but won't lose it either.
As for Josh Jacobs (14.5 projected fpts), there were no surprises last Sunday; the man delivered exactly what fantasy managers expected. Facing the Bengals' tissue-paper run defense, Jacobs bulldozed his way to 150 total yards and two touchdowns, reminding everyone why he’s a weekly must-start. Sometimes, the obvious plays really are the right ones.
Meanwhile, Romeo Doubs (8.1 projected fpts) stayed active in the passing game, leading the team with nine targets and hauling in five for 55 yards. The production wasn’t eye-popping, but the usage trend is encouraging — it's clear Jordan Love trusts him as a consistent option in the short-to-intermediate game. If the volume sticks, the fantasy points will follow.
Over in the desert, Jacoby Brissett (14.0 projected fpts) nearly played spoiler against one of his old teams, stepping in for the injured Kyler Murray (foot) and keeping the Cardinals in it until the end. He tossed an interception, but otherwise looked sharp and composed.
Cardinals vs Packers Game Predictions
Green Bay's offense has been firing on all cylinders, hitting 27 or more points in four of their five outings—the only exception coming against a tough Cleveland defense. Arizona, on the other hand, has proven it can keep pace on the scoreboard too, putting up at least 20 points in five of their six contests.
The downside for the Cardinals is on the other side of the ball. They've surrendered 20-plus points in four games, including a rough outing where they gave up 31 to the Colts. Meanwhile, the Packers just held Cincinnati to 18, showing some resilience defensively.
All signs point toward a high-scoring affair, with both offenses capable of moving the chains and finishing drives. Expect both teams to crack the 20-point barrier—Green Bay looks more likely to surge past 30 if they continue their current rhythm.
Prediction: Packers win in a shootout, something in the neighborhood of 34-24, with Green Bay's offense proving to be the difference.
