Ahead of another opportunity to bolster the ranks in early 2024, former Red Dragons defender Frank Sinclair has told Football League World when asked if Wrexham will splash more cash: “Knowing Phil Parkinson and how he's worked in the past, I don't think he'll just buy players for the sake of buying players. They may well recruit and strengthen in areas that give the squad a little more strength in depth. They're going well already, they've got that habit of winning games that they've taken from the National League into the EFL with them. Every team wants to strengthen and the best time to strengthen is when you're in a place of strength. Certainly, if Phil Parkinson goes to the owners and says: 'We might need this and that just to get us through the season'. I'm sure they'll back him like they have done since they took over.”
