'I am with you to death' - Reece James sent support by Jude Bellingham, Enzo Fernandez and Thiago Silva after Chelsea captain receives heartbreaking injury diagnosis

    The Chelsea captain was handed his first start since November 25 during the weekend against Everton but he had to be subbed off in the 26 minutes due to a know. Now the latest diagnosis report, as per Fabrizio Romano, has ruled the player out of action until at least February due to his ongoing hamstring problem.

  • WHAT REECE JAMES SAID

    James later shared a photo of himself on Instagram where he looks dejected with the caption, "Devastated". His England and Blues colleagues shared words of support in the comment section.

    Three Lions team-mate and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham left a 'care' emoji as a comment while Enzo Fernandez wrote, "Come on hermano!!! I am with you to death" and Thiago Silva commented, "You are strong captain!! And I will be there for you."

    The injury news comes as a huge blow for the 24-year-old who has appeared in just eight Premier League matches since being appointed as the club captain at the beginning of the season. James missed being part of Gareth Southgate's England squad at the 2022 World Cup last year and it seems that he could once again miss the bus at the Euro 2024 which is scheduled to start in Germany in June next year.
