Europa League knockout round play-off draw: USMNT stars Christian Pulisic & Yunus Musah to face Rennes with AC Milan

Milan slipped out of the Champions League at the group stage in 2023-24, but still have continental competition to look forward to in what is Pulisic and Musah’s debut campaign at San Siro. The United States internationals will be determined to end their first season in Italian football with tangible success to show for their efforts.

Elsewhere, Jose Mourinho’s Roma side – who suffered a penalty shootout defeat to Sevilla in last season’s final – have been paired with Dutch outfit Feyenoord. Turkish giants Galatasaray have been handed a tough draw against Sparta Prague, while Marseille and Shakhtar Donetsk boast plenty of European pedigree between them.

The first legs in all of the knockout round play-off ties will take place on February 15, 2024. The return dates are lined up for a week later on February 22. The eight teams that progress into the last-16 will be joined by the Europa League group stage winners – a list that includes Liverpool, West Ham, Brighton and Rangers.
