Should have done better in the build-up to Skipp's opener.

Solid enough as a right-sided centre-back but Chelsea missed his attacking output.

Thiago Silva (6/10):

Forced off inside 20 minutes after picking up a knee injury.

Kalidou Koulibaly (5/10):

Doesn't inspire confidence either in or out of possession.

Hakim Ziyech (4/10):

Deployed as a wing-back but struggled to make an impact. Lucky to avoid a first-half red card before being replaced 15 minutes after the break.

Enzo Fernandez (6/10):

Classy in midfield but will rue the rushed clearance that led to Skipp opening the scoring.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (5/10):

Kept the ball moving but showed little impetus to take the game on himself.

Ben Chilwell (6/10):

Not bad but not great either. At least looked like he cared.

Joao Felix (6/10):

Gave Spurs some early headaches but should have done better to deny Skipp the chance to break the deadlock.

Tested Forster late in the first half but saw his impact diminish after the break.

Back in from the cold but not given enough time to have any real say on the game.

Decision to match Tottenham's formation went well for the opening 20 minutes but clearly isn't inspiring any confidence in his players. May well have been his last stand.
