The Sounders head coach Brian Schmetzer has several injury concerns in his squad. Albert Rusnak, Joao Paulo, Jordan Morris, Paul Arriola, Ryan Kent and Stuart Russell Hawkins are all unavailable for selection.

Osaze De Rosario is likely to start ahead of Danny Musovski once again, although both were on the scoresheet in the club's previous Leagues Cup tie - the latter after coming off the bench.

Puebla team news

Canadian forward Lucas Cavallini remains ruled out with a cruciate ligament injury, while midfielder Edgar Guerra is doubtful due to a knock.

Ricardo Marin, having scored as a substitute in the Montreal win, will be pushing for a start in attack alongside Emiliano Gomez and either Iker Moreno or Esteban Lozano.
