Bermuda will host Jamaica at the Bermuda National Stadium for a World Cup qualification third round opening game from Group B on Friday.  

While the Reggae Boyz claimed the top spot in their round two pool after a 3-0 win against Guatemala, Bermuda secured second place in their group during round two with a 2-1 victory over Cuba on the final matchday.

Bermuda vs Jamaica kick-off time

The World Cup Qualification match between Bermuda and Jamaica will be played at the Bermuda National Stadium in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda.

Though the same first lineup was used in both the June games, players such as Eusebio Blankendal, Roger Lee and Aunde Todd were given a look in as substitutes.

In terms of scoring, both Zeiko Lewis and Reggie Lambe netted twice in round two of qualifying. Notably, Lambe scored the winning goal in their victory over Cuba.

Andre Blake, Leon Bailey, Joel Latibeaudiere, Bobby Reid and Di’Shon Bernard are all ruled out due to knocks.

On a more positive note, Warner Brown and Shamar Nicholson were standout performers in the second phase, each leading the team with three goals.
