How to watch today's Wales vs Belgium World Cup qualification game: Live stream, TV channel, and start time

In what could be the make-or-break showdown of Group J, Wales play host to Belgium at the Cardiff City Stadium on Monday, with both sides desperate to keep their World Cup 2026 dreams alive.

The table couldn't be tighter — Wales sit third on 10 points, just one behind Belgium and two adrift of leaders North Macedonia, though both Wales and Belgium have a game in hand. Every kick now matters, as a top-two finish is the golden ticket to the finals, and neither team can afford a misstep.

The Dragons limp into this clash still licking their wounds from a bruising 3-0 defeat to England, where their bitter rivals blew them away inside the first 20 minutes. The atmosphere in Cardiff will demand a reaction, and anything short of a fiery response could extinguish their qualification hopes.

A draw would leave Rob Page's men relying on Belgium to slip up later in the group, though a victory would put them firmly back in the driver's seat ahead of their crucial November 18 clash with North Macedonia.

As for Belgium, they arrive frustrated after being held to a goalless draw by North Macedonia, despite firing off 20 shots inside the box and completely suffocating their opponents defensively.

Manager Rudi Garcia will be fuming that his side failed to score for the first time in seven matches, especially from a team that has racked up 17 goals in their five previous group fixtures.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch, including TV channel, streaming details and more.

Wales team news

For Wales, Karl Darlow should continue between the posts, with Neco Williams, Joe Rodon, Ben Davies, and Jay Dasilva expected to form the defensive wall once more.

Ethan Ampadu remains the heartbeat in midfield, likely partnered by Liam Cullen, while David Brooks and Harry Wilson are tipped to provide the creative spark behind the towering Kieffer Moore. On the left, Brennan Johnson, the side's talisman and livewire, will shoulder much of the attacking burden.

Belgium team news

Belgium, meanwhile, could make a few tweaks after their wasteful display. Rising defensive talent Zeno Debast, who's been drawing Premier League interest, is poised to line up alongside Arthur Theate at the back.

In midfield, the industrious Amadou Onana and Nicolas Raskin may once again be tasked with doing the dirty work to allow Kevin De Bruyne the freedom to pull strings higher up the pitch.

Up front, expect Lois Openda to get the nod from the start after his late cameo last time out — his sharp movement and direct play could be the spark Belgium sorely missed.
