Valencia enter with a clean bill of health, giving Corberán the luxury of choice. Luis Rioja is tipped for a wide role, while Arnaut Danjuma could shift centrally to link up with Hugo Duro. Midfielder Javi Guerra, still a target for Europe's elite, remains central to their plans.

Athletic, however, are stretched — Yeray Alvarez and Alex Padilla are suspended, while Nico Williams, Benat Prados and Unai Egiluz are sidelined. The recent homecoming of Aymeric Laporte bolsters Valverde's defensive depth, though he may not yet be ready to start.

Valverde may turn to Maroan Sannadi in attack, with Inaki Williams reverting to the right, leaving Robert Navarro likely to make way. Oihan Sancet should retain his role as the creator-in-chief, with Inigo Ruiz de Galarreta possibly drafted in for Mikel Vesga in midfield.
