The Big 12 spotlight shifts to Orlando this weekend as the Kansas Jayhawks (3-2) pay a visit to the UCF Knights (3-1) at FBC Mortgage Stadium on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
Kansas has been riding a rollercoaster since their 2-0 start, where they cruised past Fresno State (31-7) and FCS Wagner (46-7). Since then, it’s been a mixed bag: a 42-31 setback on the road against border rival Missouri, a bye in Week 4, and then a convincing 41-10 statement win over West Virginia, only to stumble again in Week 5 with a heartbreaking 37-34 home loss to Cincinnati.
UCF, on the other hand, looked untouchable early with a perfect 3-0 mark. They opened the season by dismantling North Carolina A&T (68-7) and then stunned many with a 34-9 rout of North Carolina. But reality hit in Week 5 when they ran into Kansas State, falling 34-20 to a Wildcats squad that had been struggling against the rest of its competition.
