Duke football takes to the road for the first time this season, heading to New Orleans to face Tulane in what promises to be a lively matchup.

The Blue Devils (1-1) are coming off a 45-19 setback to Illinois in Week 2, a game marred by five turnovers and a costly equipment violation in the third quarter. They’ll face a confident Green Wave squad, who improved to 2-0 after edging South Alabama 33-31 in their last outing.

This marks just the sixth meeting in the programs’ history. Duke currently leads the series 3-2, with Tulane’s victories coming decades ago in 1964 (17-0 in New Orleans) and 1973 (24-17 in Durham). The Blue Devils have dominated recent matchups, winning three straight: 48-27 in 2011, 47-13 in 2014, and 37-7 in 2015. History may not repeat itself, but Duke will lean on that recent success for confidence heading into this road test.

Adding an intriguing storyline to the game, Duke quarterback Darian Mensah will face his former team. After transferring from Tulane following the 2024 season, Mensah returns to New Orleans looking to guide the Blue Devils to a statement win while proving himself against the program he once played for.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch the Tulane vs Duke NCAAF game, plus plenty more.
