Tigres team news

Tigres have been a force in the Leagues Cup so far, breezing past the Houston Dynamo with a 4-1 victory and following up with a 2-1 win over San Diego FC. Their defense hasn’t been perfect, but their attack, led by Argentina international Ángel Correa, has more than made up for it. Correa is one of the tournament’s standout performers with four goals in two matches, and his partnership with Marcelo Flores and Guido Pizarro has made Tigres one of the competition’s most dangerous sides.

There are no widely reported injuries or suspensions impacting Tigres’ starting lineup. The team is at full strength and playing with confidence, looking to cap the group phase with a statement victory.

Los Angeles FC team news

LAFC have struggled for consistency both in the Leagues Cup and domestically. They drew 1-1 with Mazatlán in their opener but lost on penalties, and then narrowly defeated Pachuca, also on penalties, after another 1-1 draw. The team has found it difficult to keep clean sheets lately, conceding in each of their last four matches. Denis Bouanga remains the main attacking threat, having scored against Pachuca and performing consistently from the left flank.

There are no major new injury concerns reported for LAFC, and the team will be able to field a full-strength squad. However, with their place in the knockouts on the line, expect LAFC to deploy their best available lineup, pressing for both goals and defensive stability.
