The No. 2 Penn State Nittany Lions (1-0) will welcome the Florida International Panthers (1-0) to West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium on Saturday, September 6, 2025, as both teams look to build on strong starts to the season.

Florida International opened its campaign with a comfortable 42-9 rout of Bethune-Cookman.

Penn State, meanwhile, looked every bit the national title contender in its Week 1 demolition of Nevada, rolling to a 46-11 victory.

The Nittany Lions are loaded on both sides of the ball and rarely slip against opponents outside the nation’s elite. FIU may bring some intrigue with KeyoneJenkins under center, but Penn State’s balance, depth, and dominance make them a daunting obstacle for any challenger.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch the Texas vs San Jose State NCAAF game, plus plenty more.

On the ground, Kejon Owens powered the Panthers’ rushing attack with 71 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries. Eric Nelson paced the receiving corps with two grabs for 47 yards. Defensively, Johnny Chaney Jr. and Josiah Taylor tied for the team lead with eight tackles apiece, as FIU notched two sacks and six tackles for loss.
