How to watch today's Norwich City vs Wrexham Championship game: Live stream, TV channel, and start time

Norwich City welcome Wrexham to Carrow Road on Saturday in a Championship clash that could carry huge weight for both managers.

Liam Manning’s side have looked far more assured on their travels, highlighted by last week’s hard-fought draw at Coventry where they conceded late. Yet at home, it’s been a very different story. Defeats to Millwall and Middlesbrough in the Championship, coupled with a limp Carabao Cup exit against Southampton, leave Norwich still chasing their first win in front of their own supporters this season.

Wrexham’s issues run deeper, with form faltering both at the Racecourse Ground and away from home. A 2-1 defeat to QPR last weekend left Phil Parkinson’s men hovering precariously above the drop zone, fueling speculation that a heavy defeat in Norfolk could bring an abrupt end to his four-year reign.

Having spent over £30 million during the summer window, the Red Dragons certainly boast the squad to compete at this level, but patience is running thin. Unless Parkinson can spark a turnaround quickly, the Hollywood rise of Wrexham may hit its first real stumbling block. Manning, meanwhile, isn’t under immediate scrutiny, but sooner or later he’ll need to prove his credentials to a restless Carrow Road crowd.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch, including TV channel, streaming details and more.

Norwich team news

Norwich have a couple of fresh concerns after the Coventry clash, with Ben Chrisene and Mathias Kvistgaarden both picking up knocks that leave their involvement in doubt.

Jack Stacey could slot in at left-back if required, while Oscar Schwartau is seen as a ready-made alternative in the attacking third.

Jacob Wright is back in the frame following a three-game suspension, bolstering options in midfield.

Wrexham team news

Phil Parkinson has been dealt another setback with new full-back Liberato Cacace facing another spell on the treatment table. The Kiwi, who initially returned from a minor hamstring strain suffered on the opening day at Southampton, has now torn a tendon in his other hamstring during the 2-0 triumph over Millwall in late August.

There is, however, some light at the end of the tunnel. Both Josh Windass and George Thomason are expected to feature this weekend after impressing in training. Windass, who netted from the penalty spot in that early defeat on the South Coast, has been sidelined since tweaking his hamstring the following week.

Adding to the positives, Parkinson could finally welcome back last season’s standout performer Ollie Rathbone, who has yet to feature this campaign after picking up an ankle knock in pre-season.

On the downside, long-term absentees Danny Ward, Jay Rodriguez, and Andy Cannon continue their recoveries and remain unavailable for selection.
