Millwall team news

Alex Neil is contending with an extensive injury list at The Den. Zak Lovelace and Macaulay Langstaff had both returned to training ahead of the Crystal Palace cup tie but were still absent from the squad, while Luke Jensen and Danny McNamara remain long-term casualties. Billy Mitchell, Femi Azeez, Casper De Norre, and Alfie Doughty are also sidelined.

The problems mounted further against Palace, with goalkeeper Max Crocombe suffering an issue in the warm-up, while Massimo Luongo and Luke Cundle missed out entirely. Neil has since hinted that Luongo and Cundle could be in contention to feature against Watford, depending on late assessments.

Watford team news

Watford have a less severe injury situation, with Caleb Willey their only reported absentee for this tie.

New coach Paulo Pezzolano will rely on veteran Mousa Sissoko in midfield, and young forwards like Kjerrumgaard and Doumbia for attacking threat.
