For Colorado, Kaidon Salter has been a dual-threat presence, going 77-of-117 for 901 yards with seven touchdowns and four interceptions while also ranking second on the team with 213 rushing yards and five rushing scores. Ryan Staub is next up under center with 362 passing yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions on 26-of-45 passing, plus 34 yards on the ground. Julian Lewis has seen limited action, completing two of four passes for eight yards.
Micah Welch leads the Buffs’ run game with 250 yards and a touchdown on 52 carries. Behind him, Simeon Price (21 carries, 143 yards, two TD) and Dekalon Taylor (19 carries, 83 yards) offer support, while Dallan Hayden (71 yards) and Dre’lon Miller (69 yards, TD) have also rotated in.
In the receiving department, Omarion Miller has been the go-to playmaker with 17 catches for 289 yards and three touchdowns. Joseph Williams (16 receptions, 242 yards, two TD), Sincere Brown (nine catches, 228 yards, two TD), and Taylor (10 grabs, 106 yards, two TD) round out the top targets.
Kicker Alejandro Mata has been automatic on PATs, hitting all 19 attempts and going 3-of-4 on field goals with a long of 42. As for injuries, Price and Taylor are both listed as questionable, which could thin out the Buffaloes’ running back depth chart significantly.

Rocco Becht has been steady at the helm for Iowa State, completing 109 of 168 passes for 1,417 yards with nine touchdowns to just two picks. He’s also been a factor with his legs, rushing for 60 yards and punching in seven scores on the ground. Behind him, Alex Manske has gone 4-of-6 for 28 yards while adding 31 rushing yards and a touchdown, and Connor Moberly has chipped in with 29 yards rushing despite not completing his lone pass attempt.
The Cyclones spread the workload in the backfield with a three-man rotation. Abu Sama III has logged 68 carries for 304 yards and two touchdowns, while Carson Hansen leads the team in rushing yards at 348 on 79 attempts with two scores of his own. Dylan Lee has contributed efficiently as well, tallying 86 yards and a touchdown on just 14 carries.
Through the air, tight end Benjamin Brahmer tops the receiving charts with 19 catches for 186 yards and three touchdowns. Brett Eskildsen has been the big-play threat, racking up 321 yards and two scores on 18 receptions. Chase Sowell (13 catches, 236 yards, TD), Xavier Townsend (14 grabs, 191 yards), and fellow tight end Gabe Burkle (14 receptions, 180 yards, TD) give the Cyclones a deep, balanced receiving corps.
In the kicking game, Kyle Konrardy has hit eight of nine extra points and seven of nine field goals, including a booming 63-yarder. Chase Smith has been perfect on 10 extra points and is 1-of-2 on field goals with a long of 34. Injury-wise, Hansen (concussion), Sowell, and Konrardy are names to keep an eye on going into the matchup.
