West Ham make Graham Potter sack call amid links with Nuno Espirito Santo & Slaven Bilic

According to TBR Football, Potter will stay put at West Ham at least until the next international break as the club continues their search for the Englishman's replacement. The Hammers are scheduled to face Everton and Arsenal before the October break kicks in. There will be no change in the dugout before then, unless West Ham are humiliated when they travel to face the Toffees and former boss David Moyes this weekend.

Last week, reports emerged that West Ham have made contact with former Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo and ex-Hammers boss Slaven Bilic. Nuno, who parted ways with Forest this month due to a breakdown in his working relationship with owner Evangelos Marinakis, is being backed to make a comeback to the Premier League soon.

The TBR report adds that in the next couple of weeks, West Ham owner David Sullivan will hold discussions with the club's hierarchy to assess their next steps. Potter's fate at London Stadium has essentially already been sealed, as he will only remain at the club until they find a new candidate to replace him. 

Other than Nuno and Bilic, West Ham also have their eyes on Gary O'Neil, who has previously managed Bournemouth and Wolves in the English top flight. O'Neil also played for the Hammers between 2011 and 2013, and has been a free agent since being sacked by Wolves in December 2024.
