  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The World Cup-winning forward was in Champions League action on Wednesday against Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund. Paris Saint-Germain scraped a point in that contest courtesy of a 1-1 draw, allowing both sides to progress to the last-16 of the elite European competition.

    Mbappe did not appear to be in the best of moods afterwards, with the 24-year-old spotted with his head bowed and alone in his own thoughts as PSG waited to be moved on from their latest continental contest.

    Questions continue to be asked of Mbappe’s future at Parc des Princes as he has not triggered an extension option in a contract that is due to expire next summer. PSG remain keen on putting fresh terms in place, but no deal has been agreed as yet.

    Mbappe continues to be linked with Real Madrid as a result, while there has been talk of him heading to England in order to link up with Premier League leaders Liverpool.
