VIDEO: Harry Kane x Squid Game: Bayern Munich & England star tests his acting & German-speaking skills

The England international has been on the books of Bundesliga heavyweights for close to 18 months now. He completed a big-money transfer to the Allianz Arena during the summer of 2023 when bidding farewell to Premier League giants Tottenham.

Kane can communicate in English with many of those around him in Bavaria, but is trying to break down an obvious language barrier. He has been presented with an opportunity to showcase what he has learned in a promotional video for Sky Deutschland.

The 31-year-old frontman manages just one word, “Ja”, but is trying to embrace life in a new culture. When stepping out of his comfort zone to dabble in another bout of acting, Kane is seen delivering a Christmas present to a house occupied by the infamous Pink Soldiers from Squid Game – who tell him that, like the prolific No.9, they also “never miss”.

Kane figured for England during the latest international break, taking his record-breaking haul of goals for the Three Lions to 69, and will be looking to add to a tally of 17 efforts for Bayern this term when they return to domestic action on Friday at home to Augsburg.
