La Liga giants at Santiago Bernabeu are looking for “written guarantees” from the Frenchman if a compromise on terms is reached, with a protracted saga continuing to drag on.

Those in Madrid want a decision to be made “quickly”. Part of the problem is that PSG are refusing to give up on retaining the services of their all-time leading goalscorer, with the reigning Ligue 1 champions ready to offer Mbappe €100m (£86m/$109m) per year to stay put.
