Position change for Christian Pulisic? AC Milan urged to move USMNT star in order to get all of their attacking weapons into one starting XI

The American has enhanced his reputation in Europe, while on the books at Chelsea and San Siro, while filling a wide attacking role. He has flourished on the flanks this season, with a personal-best goal return of 13 efforts being recorded across his debut campaign in Italy.

Club legend Filippo Galli believes he may have settled on a system that suits all parties, telling Milan TV ahead of a Europa League quarter-final second leg with Serie A rivals Roma: “Chukwueze starting with Roma could be an idea, but this doesn't mean giving up either Leao or Pulisic and perhaps evaluating whether to move [Ruben] Loftus-Cheek back to midfield: therefore Pulisic as an attacking midfielder. Obviously Pioli is there every day and knows the dynamics, he will be able to make the right choices.”

Milan will need to do something different against Roma as they currently trail a heavyweight European encounter 1-0 on aggregate. Pulisic will be hoping to figure from the off at Stadio Olimpico after only being introduced off the bench in a thrilling 3-3 draw with Sassuolo last time out.
