The 23-year-old winger won his solitary senior cap for the Three Lions in a UEFA Nations League clash with Iceland in 2020. Troubles off the field since then have ruled Greenwood out of contention for further call-ups.
Jamaica team manager Roy Simpson has told The Gleaner when asked for an update on the Greenwood saga: “Nothing has changed. It’s still being worked on. The family has asked us not to speak on it. But nothing has changed.”

Greenwood, who is now on the books of French giants Marseille, qualifies for Jamaica through his father. The Reggae Boyz have World Cup qualifiers with the British Virgin Islands and Guatemala on their immediate schedule, while also preparing to grace the CONCACAF Gold Cup this summer.
