Per The Times, at least two United stars were quizzed on the matter of the leaking of the team on social media. Samuel Luckhurst had reported that almost 17 hours before the clash at Etihad Stadium, Amorim's potential selection was revealed on social media and the final XI turned out to be the exact same.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The unfortunate leak, though, did not affect the team in the derby as the Red Devils staged a late comeback riding on Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo's strikes to beat their rivals 2-1. The manager is aware of the incident and has described the problem as unfixable when he addressed the media.

"I know that story. I don’t know, I think it’s impossible to fix nowadays because you have a lot of people in the club, the players talk with agents," he said.
