Luis Diaz to leave Liverpool?! Why Reds could be open to selling Colombian depending on Mohamed Salah transfer decision

Egyptian superstar Salah is approaching the final year of his current deal at Anfield and has been linked with a big-money move to Saudi Arabia. Those at Anfield are, however, eager to put fresh terms in place with the prolific 31-year-old forward.

The Reds are also looking to agree new contracts with Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, as funds are prioritised there. With that in mind, sales could be sanctioned as Liverpool move in a different direction with Jurgen Klopp no longer at the helm.

According to The Sun, Colombia international winger Diaz is among those that could be moved on. Any offers for the South American will be listened to, with several teams in Spain said to be keen on the fleet-footed 27-year-old.

Diaz moved to Merseyside from Porto in January 2022. He has made 82 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 21 goals, but has struggled with injuries at times and saw his parents kidnapped in October 2023. A fresh start may be embraced as Premier League heavyweights bring in a fee that can be reinvested elsewhere.
