The American football legend is accustomed to facing the stresses of life in professional sport. He forged a successful career out of facing those challenges head on, but has been forced to branch out after hanging up his cleats in the States for the final time.
There may be more bad news on the way at Turf Moor, with former Manchester City captain Kompany supposedly ready to swap Lancashire for Munich and an opportunity to work with Harry Kane and Co at Bayern. Watt has responded to those rumours by posting on social media: “People often ask if European football ownership helps fill the adrenaline void from playing…There are definitely days!”
