According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have told Galatasaray they must increase their offer for Calhanoglu to €30 million (£25m/$32m) if they want to complete the transfer. Galatasaray have reportedly made an indirect proposal of €15m (£13m/$16m), which falls well short of Inter's valuation. The Serie A giants want a solution in the next 15 days since they are getting ready for the upcoming season.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Inter are growing increasingly frustrated with the slow pace of negotiations. The club want to resolve Calhanoglu’s future promptly to avoid disruption to their pre-season plans and unlock funds to pursue his replacement. Atalanta's Ederson is the top target, and he costs €50m (£42m/$54m). Inter are reportedly thinking about selling Davide Frattesi, Sebastiano Esposito and Aleksandar Stankovic to help pay for the move.
Before their training camp starts, Inter wants to finish the sale of Calhanoglu. If Galatasaray doesn't reach their asking price, the club may look for other ways to sell players to pay for the Ederson deal. Atletico Madrid is interested in Frattesi, and Brugge is going after Stankovic. It is believed that negotiations will speed up in the next few days.
