Harry Kane told he can make NFL switch 'anytime' as legend Eli Manning backs Bayern Munich striker to pursue dream with New York Giants

Kane has already plundered 13 goals in the first seven games of the 2025-26 season, of which eight have come in just four Bundesliga games. The goalscoring machine is nearing a century of goals for Bayern Munich, and could even break the record of becoming the fastest player to reach a century of goals for a single club across the top five leagues, provided he scores a brace against Werder Bremen on Friday.

At the age of 32, most footballers' best years are well behind them. That doesn't seem to be the case with Kane, who is averaging almost a goal per game for Die Roten. What's more, the former Tottenham forward has admitted that he intends to keep playing football at the highest level as long as he can. 

Regardless, Kane has been vocal about his dream of switching goal scoring for points scoring in the NFL once his football career comes to a close. The England captain is often spotted at some of NFL's biggest fixtures and has looked up to one of the league's GOATs in Tom Brady for inspiration.

Speaking to BILD, Manning said: "Of course he could. The New York Giants would welcome Harry Kane as their new kicker anytime."

Recently, Spurs boss Thomas Frank conceded that Kane would be "more than welcome" at the club if he considers a return. However, Bayern are not contemplating a future without their talismanic forward, despite club chief Max Eberl stating that any decisions Kane wants to make for his future will be left on him.
