Bayern made Club World Cup history on Sunday, scoring 10 goals against Auckland City to secure the biggest ever win at the Club World Cup. Jamal Musiala bagged a hat-trick, while Thomas Muller, Michael Olise and Kingsley Coman all scored twice. Bayern's other scorer was Sacha Boey, with the usually prolific Kane not able to find the back of the net.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Bayern's win suggests the newly-crowned Bundesliga champions may take some stopping at the Club World Cup. Kane will be hoping to open his account next time out for Vincent Kompany's side but certainly did not appear too downhearted after the game when he reacted to the win on social media.
He posted on Instagram: "Three points and a strong start in the @fifaclubworldcup."

Bayern's 10-0 win over Auckland City was the biggest margin of victory in a FIFA World Club match (including the previous format) and Bayern's second-biggest win in all competitions this millennium after a 12-0 win over Bremer SV in the DFB Cup in August 2021.
