Kane suffers Euros heartbreak with England
Returns to Bayern Munich training
Striker says it's "so good to be back"
WHAT HAPPENED?
England lost agonisingly to Spain in the final of Euro 2024, in a tournament where Kane was criticised for his displays - despite being joint-top scorer with three goals. The former Tottenham star was ineffective for much of the competition and struggled to replicate the form he showed for Bayern last season. However, after a summer break, the 31-year-old is back at the Bundesliga outfit and is raring to go.

WHAT HARRY KANE SAID
Alongside posting three photos of himself in Bayern training, he wrote on Instagram: "So good to be back! 🙌."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Kane swapped Spurs for Bayern last year and went onto score 44 goals and bag 12 assists in 45 matches in all competitions. While he had a superb individual season, the German giants endured a trophyless campaign for the first time since 2012. He and his team-mates will look to return to winning ways this term as he seeks his first ever major trophy.
