Harry Kane keeps on firing! Bayern Munich forward sets personal record with goal for England in drab Euros qualifying win Malta

It now seems inevitable that Kane will find the net when he takes to the pitch; be it for club or country. After being controversially booked for simulation after a challenge from goalkeeper Henry Bonello in the first half, the striker found the net in the 75th minute.

It was a brilliant team move with Kyle Walker slipping Phil Foden through the right, who laid it off to Bukayo Saka. The Arsenal forward drilled in a low cross and Kane did not miss from six yards, scoring his 15th goal in eight matches. This set a new personal record, as Kane has never before scored in eight consecutive games for club and country.

Kane was one of the better players in England's lacklustre 2-0 win over Malta. He has been in sensational form since he completed his €100 million (£87m/$109m) transfer to Bayern Munich from Tottenham. He hasregistered 21 goals and seven assists for Bayernin just 16 appearances and there seems to be no stopping him in Bundesliga.

Kane could reportedly bag a €250,000 goal bonus at Bayern Munich if he scores 40 goals across all competitions for the Bavarians. He has already crossed the halfway mark and if he continues this rich vein of form he could well earn the hefty bonus - in addition to his €480,000-a-week contract.

Kane will be eager to extend his scoring streak to nine matches when England take on North Macedonia on Monday. After fulfilling his international commitments he will return to Germany to take on Koln alongside his his Bayern team-mates on November 25.
