    WHAT TUCHEL SAID

Speaking to reporters, ahead of the crucial match against Dortmund, Tuchel said: "Harry trained fully with the team yesterday, and has stepped things up each day. It's all fine, he'll play."

The manager further informed that Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry will also be included in the matchday squad.

"King [Coman] is a huge factor for us and will be back in the matchday squad," he said. "Serge Gnabry is also back. Both are hugely important for us. Our options up front are getting bigger and the competition for places should hopefully improve quality."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Manuel Neuer has lost the race against time to feature in the Der Klassikeras he continues to nurse a muscle injury in his left adductor that he picked up during the international break.

Detailing the injury status of the entire squad, Tuchel added: "Neuer is out. Aleks Pavlovic is unfortunately not available. Raphaël Guerreiro also isn't back yet. And Sacha Boey got injured during the week. Those four are out."

However, the manager is hopeful that the No.1 choice between the sticks will be available against Heidenheim.

"It's nothing to do with risk. The pain is simply too great. We hope a week is enough and he'll be in goal against Heidenheim,' he said.
