England are preparing for three Euro 2025 qualifiers in the next six weeks and spirits appeared high in the training camp ahead of the match against France. Arsenal team-mates Beth Mead and Leah Williamson were sharing the love as the forward carried her captain on her back towards the changing rooms.

After experiencing World Cup heartbreak in Australia last year, the Lionesses will be desperate to defend their European crown in 2025. Williamson missed the tournament Down Under but Sarina Wiegman's side are back to full strength and putting the work in on the training ground.

England take on France tonight at St James. Park before heading across the Channel for the return fixture a few days later. In July, the Lionesses face the Republic of Ireland and Sweden. Wiegman's side are currently second in their group, behind Les Bleues but a win would take them to the top of the standings.
