WHAT HAPPENED?
According to GOAL Brazil, the German giants are making a late attempt to try and sign the highly touted Brazil winger this summer despite the 17-year-old having already been in advanced talks with Chelsea. As per the reports, Bayern have already initiated contact with the winger and will try to secure his signing this summer before he completes his move in the summer of 2025.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Chelsea have reportedly already made their third bid for the 17-year-old in the region of €35 million (£30.1m/$37.7m) with €25 million (£21.5m/$26.9m) to be paid as add-ons. The report has suggested that Bayern are set to formalize a bid soon that will be better than the Premier League club's bid but still have a lower fixed fee than the starlet's release clause of €45 million (£38.7m/$48.5m).
Regardless of which club signs the 17-year-old this summer, they will have to wait until the summer of 2025 to bring him physically to the club due to the age restriction on such transfers of players under the age of 18.
