Bayern Munich, Barcelona or Real Madrid? Bundesliga giants make fresh move for Jonathan Tah as they look to beat La Liga rivals to in-demand defender on free transfer
Back in February, Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl ruled out a move for Tah after failing to agree a deal with Bayer Leverkusen last summer. However, with the 29-year-old now set to become a free agent, Bayern have renewed their interest. Talks with Tah’s camp are underway, with Die Roten eager to strike a deal this month, especially as Barcelona remain entangled in resolving potential departures from their overcrowded defensive unit.
With Eric Dier set to leave for free and join Ligue 1 heavyweights Monaco, Bayern are desperate to look for defensive reinforcements. Another player who could be on his way out of the Allianz Arena is Kim Min-jae, who doesn't want to prolong his stay in Germany. Chelsea have reportedly begun talks over a potential summer deal, with Newcastle and Juventus also interested in the South Korea international.
