The Big Ten clash sees the No. 6 Oregon Ducks (6-1) host the struggling Wisconsin Badgers (2-5) on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Autzen Stadium.

For Wisconsin, the season has been a nightmare. The Badgers are reeling from five straight losses, including back-to-back shutouts, and have failed to top double digits in any of their four Big Ten matchups. With the remaining schedule stacked against them, each game sees Wisconsin as a heavy underdog, and it would be shocking if the season didn’t end at 2-10.

Oregon, meanwhile, is riding high after a dominant 56-10 road win over Rutgers following a challenging game at Indiana. While the Ducks don’t have full control over their Big Ten destiny, winning out could punch their ticket to the College Football Playoff. Next up is a road test at Iowa, sandwiched in a stretch where three of the next four games are at home, giving Dan Lanning’s squad a favorable setup to close the season strong.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch the Oregon vs Wisconsin NCAAF game, plus plenty more.

Oregon vs Wisconsin news & key players

Oregon Ducks team news

Oregon has had a rollercoaster three weeks. They opened with a statement road win against No. 3 Penn State, a game that ultimately contributed to the firing of James Franklin. That momentum stalled with a loss to the surprisingly tough Indiana Hoosiers, but the Ducks rebounded emphatically with a 46-point rout of Rutgers. In that game, QB Dante Moore passed for 290 yards and four touchdowns, demonstrating why he’s considered a future NFL talent.

The 6ft 3in sophomore has already thrown for 1,686 yards this season with a 19-4 TD-INT ratio. His top performance came with 305 yards against Oregon State. Moore also poses a threat on the ground with 144 rushing yards, although Oregon spreads the carries around. Senior RB Noah Whittington leads the ground attack with 336 yards and four touchdowns, while freshman Dierre Hill Jr. follows closely with 329 yards and three scores.

The Ducks’ passing game also features speedy freshman WR Dakorien Moore, who has 25 receptions for 398 yards and three touchdowns, and TE Kenyon Sadiq, who has 305 yards and five scores. Defensively, Oregon has recorded 13 sacks, paced by linebacker Matayo Uiagalelei with four, while seven different players have intercepted passes, including two by LB Jerry Mixon.

Wisconsin Badgers team news

Since its early-season nonconference wins, Wisconsin has struggled mightily in Big Ten play and enters Saturday’s clash with Oregon still searching for its first conference victory. The Badgers haven't crossed the end zone since the first quarter of their Week 6 loss to Michigan and have been shut out in back-to-back games.

Injuries haven't helped. Starting QB Billy Edwards Jr. sprained his knee in Wisconsin’s Week 1 victory over Miami (Ohio), leaving the Badgers to rotate between sophomore Danny O’Neil, a transfer from San Diego State who initially won the starting job, and senior Hunter Simmons, who saw his first action this year. Neither has been consistent. O’Neil has thrown five touchdowns against five interceptions, while Simmons took over after a 27-10 loss to Maryland in Week 4. Even against top-tier defenses, Simmons hasn’t inspired confidence: a 177-yard, one-interception outing at Michigan was followed by shutouts against Iowa (37-0) and Ohio State (34-0). His mistakes—two picks against the Hawkeyes and one versus the Buckeyes—highlight ongoing struggles, and it remains unclear when or if Edwards will return. Head coach Luke Fickell has stayed vague about his starter’s timeline.

Wisconsin’s ground game is similarly shaky, ranking 122nd in FBS with just 3.1 yards per carry. Sophomore Dilin Jones leads the backfield with 76 carries for 300 yards and two touchdowns, but no other player has topped 169 yards. Darrion Dupree and Cade Yacamelli round out the rotation, neither finding the end zone this season.
