How to watch today's Egypt vs Guinea-Bissau World Cup qualification game: Live stream, TV channel, and start time

Fresh off Mohamed Salah's dazzling display that sealed Egypt'sticket to the 2026 World Cup, the Pharaohs return to the pitch on Sunday determined to wrap up their qualifying campaign in style against Guinea-Bissau

The North African heavyweights officially booked their place at next summer's expanded 48-team tournament after cruising past Djibouti with a 3-0 victory, and they did it without the injured Omar Marmoush. It was, once again, the Salah show in Cairo, as the Liverpool talisman bagged a brace, with Ibrahim Adel joining the party to cap off a commanding display.

Now, Egypt shifts focus to Guinea-Bissau, a side that had briefly climbed to fourth place in Group A under the guidance of Luis Boa Morte. However, their campaign has faltered down the stretch. A 1-0 defeat to Ethiopia last time out leaves them staring at the prospect of slipping to fifth by the final whistle on Sunday.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch, including TV channel, streaming details and more.

Egypt team news

Salah has been nothing short of sensational throughout qualifying, netting nine goals, one ahead of Algeria's Mohamed Amoura, Mali's Kamory Doumbia, and Gabon's Denis Bouanga. With his scoring touch red-hot, few would bet against him adding to his tally, assuming manager Hossam Hassan doesn't decide to rest his superstar.

Meanwhile, Trezeguet, who entered the penultimate round with five goals, couldn't get on the scoresheet against Djibouti, but he did register an assist to push his total goal involvements to seven. That's still well behind Salah's remarkable 12, but the Al Ahly winger continues to play a vital creative role in this high-flying attack.

In midfield, Hamdy Fathy will be sidelined after picking up his second yellow card of qualifying. His likely replacement, Mohanad Lasheen, is expected to step in to anchor the center of the park.

Guinea-Bissau team news

For Guinea-Bissau, things look bleak. With leading scorer Mama Baldé (two goals) and top creator Alfa Semedo both unavailable, the Djurtus have lacked a cutting edge. Their failure to score against Ethiopia was telling, and their attack will need a drastic turnaround to trouble Egypt's disciplined defense.

Everton striker Beto featured for the full 90 minutes in that loss and will be desperate to make a more meaningful impact in Cairo, ideally something more productive than another yellow card.
