U.S. Open Championship 2025: How to watch the golf tournament, TV times and schedule

We’ve witnessed some magical moments already at two of the standout golfing events of the year. Rory McIlroy’s enthralling Masters victory in April, which saw him finally clinch the career grand slam, was momentous. While the Irish swinger did it the hard way, needing a playoff to claim the title at Augusta, Scottie Scheffler strolled to a 5-shot success when winning the PGA Championship in Charlotte last month. That’s two Majors down and two to go. We head to the Oakmont Country Club this month (June 12-15) for the third chapter of the 2025 Major storybook, with yet more drama and excitement to come.

The U.S. Open returns to the Oakmont Country Club for a record-breaking tenth occasion this year. Last time the prestigious tournament graced the Pennsylvanian course in 2016, Dustin Johnson took the title. Other American golfing greats to land the U.S Open at Oakmont include Larry Nelson (1983), Johnny Miller (1973), Jack Nicklaus (1962), Ben Hogan (1953) and Sam Parks Jr. (1935).

If recent editions of the U.S Open Championship are anything to go by, we could be set for another stellar week. With all four previous champions winning by just a single stroke, we’ve been glued to our seats watching the U.S. Open action unfold. Bryson DeChambeau claimed his second U.S Open crown twelve months ago, and having produced impressive performances at both the Masters and the PGA Championship (as he did last year), he’ll be confident of another bold showing this time around.

The top-2 ranked golfers in the world came out on top in the opening two Majors of 2025. Will the high-flyers dominate again, or are you expecting a shock result this time? Let GOAL show you everything you need to know for this year’s U.S. Open at Oakmont, including how you can watch or stream all the action live.
