With championship aspirations still burning, the Wolves will look to carry that postseason pedigree into Portland and spoil the Blazers’ home opener.

Portland Trailblazers

The Portland Trail Blazers underwent a major shake-up this offseason, parting ways with two of their key offensive contributors. Center Deandre Ayton was bought out and later signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, while Anfernee Simons was shipped to the Boston Celtics in exchange for veteran guard Jrue Holiday.

Those moves cost Portland two of its top four scorers from last season, but the arrival of Holiday brings much-needed experience, defensive toughness, and playmaking stability to the backcourt.
