Bright was joined by her Lionesses teammate Mary Earps in the first EA FC Women's TOTY, which also included star names such as Sam Kerr, Alexia Putellas and Sophia Smith.

Bright captained England throughout 2023 and was also named as Chelsea captain prior to the 2023/24 campaign. She is also the longest serving player amongst the current squad.

    WHAT NEXT FOR BRIGHT?

Chelsea currently sit at the top of the Women's Super League table, with a three-point gap on Manchester City in second. Bright and her teammates will be eager to extend this lead, as they prepare to face Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon.

Bright herself has currently been sidelined since November but Chelsea boss Emma Hayes is hopeful she can make a return in February.
