    Van Dijk put pen to paper on a new two-year Liverpool deal until 2027 on Thursday, ending months of speculation about his future. Now, The Athletic states his salary is believed to be in the region of £400,000 per week, allowing him to maintain his status as Europe's best-paid defender.
