VIDEO: Alisha Lehmann delivers X-rated response to critics of wearing make-up while playing for Aston Villa & Switzerland

The Swiss star, who plies her club trade for WSL side Aston Villa, has become one of the most recognisable figures in the women’s game. She boasts a loyal legion of followers on social media, with her stock continuing to soar around the world.

Lehmann likes to look and feel good on and off the field, with the 25-year-old forward one of the most glamorous stars in English and world football. Not everyone, though, is a fan of the look that she chooses to sport when doing her day job.

Lehmann has told those detractors where to go in a TikTok video that features the message: “When someone tells me, don’t wear make up to play football.” The clip in question sees Lehman lip-syncing to a song that includes some rather industrial language.

Lehmann is currently away on international duty, with Switzerland – who will fill the role of hosts at the Euro 2025 – readying themselves for the start of a European Championship qualification campaign that gets underway against Turkey on Friday.
