WHAT HAPPENED?
The men's Champions League final in 2027 will be held at Atletico Madrid's Estadio Metropolitano after Milan's San Siro lost the rights amid ongoing renovation plans. Atletico's 70,000-capacity stadium previously hosted the 2019 final, when Liverpool defeated Tottenham 2-0. It will be the sixth time the Spanish capital has staged the competition's biggest game.
