Midfielder moved to Italy in 2023
Faces fierce competition for places
New manager has a role for him
WHAT HAPPENED?
The 21-year-old midfielder enjoyed a productive debut campaign at San Siro on the back of his 2023 move from Valencia. He made 40 appearances across all competitions, with 30 of those coming in Serie A, but started only 13 games in the Italian top-flight.
Fonseca has no intention of sanctioning a sale, telling Gazzetta dello Sport of Musah’s place in his plans: “I’m 200% sure he’s the kind of player for our game. He showed [against Real Madrid] in 30 minutes, it was amazing with just a few days of working with us. I’m very confident with him. I believe he can be very important for our team. But of course, he must improve many things, but my opinion? He has the right characteristics to play in this position in our game.”
