WHAT HAPPENED?
Mark McKenzie is set to get his shot in a big five league, the centerback on the verge of joining Toulouse, according to Sky Germany'sFlorian Plettenberg. He had previously been linked with a series of Bundesliga moves after becoming a regular for the Belgian side.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The Bear, Delaware native started his career with the Philadelphia Union before earning a move to the Belgian Pro League in 2021. He played for Genk in multiple European competitions, and was named to the USMNT's Copa America squad this summer - although he didn't feature in the tournament.
WHAT NEXT FOR MCKENZIE
The centerback seems poised to complete his move in the coming days. He will be expected to help Toulouse stay competitive after they finished 11th in Ligue 1 last season.
