'Sir Jim Ratcliffe is embarrassing' - INEOS called out for Man Utd 'shambles' after Dan Ashworth exit leaves crisis club on 'brink of relegation'

United announced the stunning departure of Ashworth on Sunday, just five months after his appointment. Reports suggest that INEOS initiated the exit, and now fans have slammed Ratcliffe for allowing the former England supremo to depart.

Ashworth was heavily involved in United's £200 million ($254m) summer spend but the club have struggled immensely this season, sacking Erik ten Hag, and now sit 13th in the Premier League table. On Saturday, they lost 3-2 at home to Nottingham Forest.

United are next in Premier League action against Manchester City next weekend. First, they face Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on Thursday.
