Sevilla's financial struggles mean they cannot realistically offer Ramos a financial package anywhere close to those suitors abroad, however. Ramos turned down such interest before to sign for Sevilla in September last year, but according to AS, he does not want to wait for a club that long again. At 38-years-old the defender has a decision to make on what may be his final club in a distinguished, trophy-laden career.

Keen to resolve his future before the end of the season, Ramos will use the final eight games of the campaign to prove his worth to Sevilla once again. If the Spanish club feel they cannot afford to keep Ramos, he will then decide on the many lucrative offers on the table which could be between a reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi.
