The Red Dragons have seen their stock soar since welcoming Hollywood co-owners to SToK Racecourse, with interest piqued in North America. The award-winning ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ documentary series has opened up a window to the world, making Phil Parkinson’s side a big draw a long way outside of North Wales.

That standing is being recognised as Wrexham prepare to join Premier League heavyweights in having a game shown live on a giant immersive screen at Cosm LA. The Red Dragons will be in League One action against Barnsley on Tuesday, with fans in California set to be joined by some famous faces.

A promotional video for the event states: “We’ve all been hearing about this soccer club and now you can see them closer than ever, because on December 3rd Cosm LA is bringing the magic of Wrexham vs Barnsley straight to you with an immersive stadium-like experience. Wrexham have dropped just two points on home soil this season, winning eight of their nine third tier fixtures at the Racecourse. Fans of the general public and celebrity variety will be hoping to have more to cheer when facing the Tykes, with Parkinson’s men looking to close in on league leaders Wycombe.
