    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Okonkwo was forced back to his parent club for treatment when suffering a jaw injury, but has been cleared to retrace steps to SToK Racecourse – much to the delight of Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson, who has also lost Rob Lainton to knee surgery.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Wrexham supporters are delighted to see Okonkwo in North Wales, with an official social media post announcing that the 22-year-old is “back in the building” being flooded with messages urging Reynolds and McElhenney to make the funds available for a permanent transfer in the January window.

  • WHAT NEXT FOR OKONKWO?

Okonkwo is only tied to a contract at Arsenal through to the summer of 2024, meaning that some big decisions on his future are fast approaching. He has caught the eye while at Wrexham – with his efforts being noted elsewhere – but there may be a chance for the Red Dragons to do a deal at some stage.
