Ronaldo’s three-fingered goal celebration explained – with Al-Nassr superstar offering nod to son Cristiano Jr after going through iconic ‘Siuuu’ routine

The Portuguese superstar was on target once again when lining up against Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League. He put Al-Nassr on their way to a 3-0 win, with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner converting from the penalty spot.

Ronaldo went through his usual ‘Siuuu’ routine after crashing the ball into the back of the net, but the celebrations did not stop there. The evergreen 39-year-old went on to direct a hand signal in the direction of son Cristiano Jr, who was sat in the stands.

According to ESPN, Ronaldo was referencing the fact that the Ronaldo boys had scored three goals between them on the day – with Cristiano Jr having earlier bagged a brace for Al-Nassr’s U15 side in a 4-0 victory over Al Qadsiah.
